Lots of web page timeouts on every computer on network

Ok, this is driving me nuts. I've been having extremely slow page load times and timeouts frequently. Basically, the pages typically load very quickly, or don't load at all. stop/refresh sometimes helps. This only really seems to affect browsing though - speedtests, streaming audio/video and gaming all are fine once I get the page loaded.

I think it must be an issue with the way my computers are set up. I've eliminated every other issue I can think of.

There are 3 computers on my network, running different versions of Windows 7.

Current setup is Atlanticbroadband 8mb cable with an encore wireless-n router. It's not my wireless or my isp:

I was on AT&T dsl. I though it was them, so I switched to cable, but it does the same thing (but 8mb vs 3 mb for the same price so it's ok).

I also have a linksys wireless g that i can swap in, but that doesn't help. also, plugging directly to the modem or router does not help, so it's not a wireless/router issue.

So, i think I must have done something wrong with the network settings on all 3 computers I guess?

Help!
