Image Compression?

For the past week or so I have noticed that Cricket seems to be using some sort of proxy or something to compress images. It looks horrible!

I have tested it this out in 5 different browsers, I my display settings on my pc are fine. It is only a problem online throught Cricket's EVDO. Has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just me???

I will call Cricket tomorow and see if they can give me any useful information that I can actually understand through thier heavy Indian accents.

What Google Now Looks Like Using Cricket Broadband
Yes, you're not alone! Cricket Broadband is running image compression software over their network. There's no user-side way to disable it. I have tried my A600 on multiple computers with no luck so it's definitely on their end. I have called tech support numerous times and they won't admit to doing this. The image compression only affects GIFs, JPEGs, JPGs so far... bitmaps and pngs still look ok. This has got to be illegal!
