adding 2nd computer

I have a Broadxent Briteport 8120 4 port router and static ip (up to 5, I believe) . I wish to add another computer and plug it into port 2 of the router. ( my existing computer is on port one)
IP Address: xx.x.xx.xx
Gateway: xx.x.xx.xx
What ip address do I use for the second computer on port 2 ???

Your DHCP should automatically assign the IP. If you don't use NAT, your IP will be xx+1 (up to +4 for a total of five IPs), gateway and all other options are the same, and if you're NATed, then it'll be some IP within the same subnet.
