Big Papi DID help! Stayed late and watched the game @ work. .500, month and a half until All Star Break. I'll do some math tomorrow when the Sandman isn't trying to bag me.
40 games so far, won 20 = .500 51 more games until All Star Break for a total of 91. Win half, still .500 (26 games = .506, 25 games = .495, let's hope for at least 26) Win 2/3 (20 + 34= 54 / 91) is .593, Realistic? perhaps. Win all games (20 + 51 = 71 / 91) .780 Wishful thinking. Dreaming really. Calculating odds on games that far out is not reliable so I won't waste my time. Refer to your schedule(s). I have 5: Computer, TV, Work, Wallet (you never know) and Basement Door. The basement door has 30 schedules starting from 1981 when we moved here.
Inter-league play is the Cubs. "The Chicago Cubs are heading back to Fenway Park for the first time since they lost the 1918 World Series to the Boston Red Sox." Should be interesting. Odds on a "throw-back uniform" game are pretty high.
"Boston starter Tim Wakefield, who at 44 years young is the oldest active player in Major League Baseball," "Wakefield began pitching with the Red Sox in 1995, making him the longest-serving member of the team."
Am I the only one that watches the baseball? What goes on here? I am running around, watching the games and I get no goddamn help. A bit of support please? Jesus H Fuckinig Christ.
Did you miss it? Dave Pahked it! Red Sox Yankees? Did you happen to fall asleep?
I clock out later than most of you @ midnight. Does anyone watch Red Sox in 2?Red Sox @ 1 am
I hit the bed at 10:30-11 pm regardless of what's happening in sports unless it's a play-off game or there is no work the next day. Typically when I go to a Red Sox game after work I take the next day off work. Performing my best at work trumps a game. I need that paycheck and doing your best helps get that nice raise every year.
