Their number is 215-1000. There was a fiber cut today and that is why the internet service is horrible.

Check out the other thread about Docsis3 in PC. Seems there was a fiber cut somewhere but it has now been fixed.

Knology just took over our local cable. Came here to see what people had to say. This is not encouraging.

Knology is a decent company bro. Their customer service reps, in my experience, are somewhat knowledgeable, and are usually pleasant to talk to. Where Knology drops the ball, as far as my situation, was with the internet. Knology is a smaller cable company than most. To me, it seems they were unwilling, for whatever reason, to spend the necessary money on maintaining/upgrading their network and is infrastructure. Everyone with general internet knowledge knows that a cable node is wholly dependent upon how many "users" draw from the same bandwith. As their customer base grew, networks began to become overcrowded. One thing I can say is that this is an issue that affects all cable companies. You coukd go to pretty much any one of their forums and find some of the same issues. Some just seem to be more honest and timely in handling these issues than others. At the end of the day, we all work hard for our money. Giving your money to ANY business when they're not delivering on their products/services is damn near like giving them a donation. Just my two cents...
