FiOS Router finally everything it should be?

According to this post: »forums.verizon.com/t5/Sh ··· p/278199 Verizon will release in Q3 2011 a new router that will have a larger NAT table and full Wireless N capabilities. Hopefully if this router finally gets it right we won't have a need to be adding 2nd routers or making the Actiontec a network bridge, etc, etc. Any guesses as to whether this is the REV H that has been hinted at here: »Actiontec MI424WR Rev H

Also, if this router is MoCA 2.0 then possibly that would indicate Q3 2011 as IPTV launch window.

It won't be MOCA 2.0 for 2 reasons:
1) MOCA 2.0 chips are not available yet.

quote:
[Entropic] said it does not expect to have the version 2.0 chips in full production until early 2012.

2) Even if it had MOCA 2.0, it would not operate at 400/800Mbps because all current ONTs, STBs and DVRs (including 72xx-P2) are MOCA 1.1. Like wireless, MOCA devices operate at the highest compatible speed.

But yeah, my guess is the rev. H also.
I wonder if that Q3 date is as accurate as TJ.

Are any of the Actiontecs, including this upcoming one, gigabit ethernet across all ports? What kind of speeds can the ethernet from the ONT reach?

The rev. G has gigabit ports all around (needed for 150/35).

My guess is that the rev. H should also be gigabit.
Motorola GPON ONTs are gigabit.
Alcatel GPON ONTs are 10/100.
Tellabs BPON ONTs are 10/100.
