Re: Laptop Battery I think you're getting screwed over by the person on eBay that is selling the batteries to you. Return the battery, file a complaint with a PayPal, and get the battery from a non-eBay merchant.

Has anyone asked if his old battery charges? If it randomly stopped charging one day (as opposed to just having low capacity), then I think the laptop is the problem. |

| The original battery does not charge anymore. I figured that after 5 years it just died. My friend had the same problem with his battery bought one on eBay and it charged and worked fine. I will see tomorrow if it charges on his laptop.

It would not charge on his laptop. I did some google searches and there seems to be a lot of problems with the zd8000 and battery charging. However, in this case I feel it is the battery. I am just going to ask for a full refund and save up for a netbook

YMMV: I bought a battery worked perfect for about 14 months or so....now it's a brick...oh well. It was for an Acer netbook, got a good 10 hours when it worked.
