| T1 W/horible service I really don't know where to start. We have a business class T1 from Megapath. On Thursday 4am the line went down. After waiting on hold for 45min I finally got a hold of tech support. The T1 was 'fixed' by 10am, The line went down again at 12, called again we went back up at 2pm. 6pm the line goes down. Call CS and wait, they have to submit a ticket to Covad.. This goes on.. it's Saturday at 10pm and still no resolution to the problem. T1 is still down. We are talking 3 days of down time on a business T1!
I would suggest staying away from Megapath. Their support tier is Megapath->Covad->ATT 4th party. Very frustrating. |

| it's been 17 days now on a 'business' class T1 and we are still bouncing like crazy. Call MegaPath, they have to call Covad who calls ATT. Call Covad and say I have to call MegaPath... Isn't Megapath and Covad one and the same now? Seriously for as much as we spend on a T1 this should have been taken care of 17 days. We are switching servers to Comcast Business until this can get straightened out. Ridiculous! MegaPath sucks! |

 | Same here in Orange County. Service has been suffering greatly. My T1 latency is now over 500ms all the time with 20% packet loss.
And you call support and you get suck with a Covad operator who 'doesn't have the tools' to fix the problem and they would need to call back, which they never do.
Prior to the merger things were great but everything Covad touches turns to crap. Covad was the reason I dumped my previous provider Nextweb (a WISP). Nextweb was great until Covad bought them. They then doubled the price and cut the speeds in 1/2...then piled on with billing errors and horrible service. Now I'm getting the same horrible service from Megapath.
As soon as my contract term is up I'm so gone. |

 | reply to rivithead ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. |

 | reply to rivithead Hello,
We are very sorry for your poor experience with MegaPath. The merging of three rather large companies does take a while and we are sorry you're feeling the rough end of it. We had some outages with out redbacks in the California area for quite some time but they are completely resolved by now. You can also request SLA credit via out MegaPath website at »apps.megapath.com/support/sla.cfm .
Unfortunately due to limited Technicians we sometimes have to reach out to the ILEC, AT&T for delivering the loop and testing the loop, which can result in some long wait times. We humbly ask you to bear with us during these rough times and greatly appreciate your business. If you require to speak with someone directly, you can call into our Customer Care support center @ 1-877-611-6342 x4, we are here for you.
Thank you,
