My name is Mike Trimble. I'm 44 years old, married to the love of my life for 26 years, and I have three beautiful daughters (16, 19, and 22).
I have been a pastor for 24 years now, serving in three churches. I started out in a small country church in the San Joaquin Valley of California, I then moved to the Bay Area, near Napa, and started a new church there, and I recently moved back to the Valley to pastor a church. During my ministry I have done all sorts of odd jobs on the side...selling La-Z-Boy furniture, driving a School Bus, and Real Estate Sales.
Photography has been my way of slowing things down and taking the time to enjoy the beauty around me. I like landscapes but I find myself intrigued by taking small bites out of a landscape and trying to focus on the things I might normally never see. My photography is a very spiritual experience for me and I tend to come away from most every photograph with a devotional thought or scripture passage in mind.
I have been using my prints recently to give out to folks I visit at our local nursing home and hospital.
I have learned so much and continue to learn from the fine members here... Thanks for participating and sharing!
