Brooklyn, NY | [Cable] Transfer AOL 8.0 Files to New PC My next-door neighbor has been using AOL 8.0 on an "ancient" Sony laptop from 10 years ago.
The laptop runs under Windows 98 SE and has a cable internet connection.
She finally recently got a new PC, which runs Windows XP.
She want to copy to a Flash Drive, the AOL 8.0 Personal Filing Cabinet, Favorites, and Database Info;
and then she wants to transfer those files from the Flash Drive to the new PC and import them into AOL (whatever the newest version is).
1) What are the AOL 8.0 files names?
2) Where would they be located on her old PC?
3) After she copies the AOL files from her Flash Drive to her new PC,
how would she import those files into the new AOL on her new PC?
