 | Line Quality Test failed I'm not sure what this totally means... if its a problem on my end or somewhere else?
But my medium & high speed line tests always fail, but the low bandwidth passes. Although earlier this week the low also didn't have a good score.

I've noticed my internet had seemed slower than normal the past week. I even tried changing my IP but it didn't help. |

It is interesting to note that the Central trace shows this hop is normal.
The second trace is not as bad as the first, but there are still some high latency pings at the CMTS.
There is nothing that you can do about it. Call RR and tell them about the high latency at the CMTS and maybe they can fix it.
This is what I get pinging the CMTS.

 | Thank you for the reply. I think I got it fixed now, hopefully.
I tried reinstalling my old previous router, and the problem went away. Then when I tried it again with my newer router, the problem came back.
So then I had the router reset all its settings back to default, and re-entered everything, and that seems to have fixed it. I don't know what for sure was causing it, but apparently it had to do with the router, which is weird.

Or at least at the moment that fixed it, I hope I didn't jinx myself. My new router is an Asus RT-N56U. |

If you look at the latest LQT, there is still some high latency spikes at the CMTS at the West Coast plot.
Keep an eye on it to make sure that it is really "fixed". -- "You can observe a lot by watching". Yogi Berra |
