Confusion on Speeds

I had talked to a rep earlier this month, and they said that the "Edge Plus" package in Auburn, al is 30/5. But I just talked to a rep today and they said it's 30/3. WTF? Who's right?

up tbh, unless Opelika has gone D3, your speed will be 8M/768KB... ask if D3 is already in Opelika. as far to my knowledge, i have not heard a peep about Opelika.

both are wrong, D3 edge will be 25/2, but with a D3 modem, you may get around 30/3.

idk if big dusty in PC beach is an exception.

I get 25/5 here in PCB w/ Edge Plus

Fairly consistent, slows down sometimes but in just over 2 weeks now since install, been good. My third times w/ Knology, first 2 didn't last long, but third times is (knock on wood) the charm!

i should say, Edge is Advertised as 25/2, but it will vary depending on your modem.

this is my speed as of 5:30 PM

my modem says D1.x, arris CM550A so far that's the highest DL speed i've gotten so far. and i'm on basic... according to Bramma, D3 won't be here until April, but as soon as i get some money, i'm getting a D3 modem..

but if your one of those people that is tired of Charter AKA crapCHater, i would switch.

Edit: I didn't realize there was a difference between the "Edge" and "Edge Plus". The "Edge Plus" is advertised at 25/5. The "Edge" is at 8/768. Their page is really bad for looking this crap up...

There are actually 5 speed tiers in Auburn. The lowest is a 3mbps down with 1mbps up. Then it jumps to 15dn/2up, 30dn/3up, 40dn/5up, then 50dn/5up. Although the 30 down package regularly hits over 4meg up.
