I had actually forgotten that I requested it. My only complaints would be that I couldn't get it in black and it doesn't have a pocket.
All in all, still pretty cool IMO. Picture quality isn't the best, all I have available right now is the camera in my HTC Dream (AKA T-Mobile G1) -- All hardware sucks, all software sucks, some just suck more than others |

I am kind of hung up at guru because the DNS I am using is DynDNS.org, and they don't actually seem to have IPv6 glue to mydyndns.org. I don't have a good idea of how to get past that. It's cheap, maybe I'll buy another domain like philippstest.us or something and ask them to reset me back to near the beginning, so that I don't frak up my family's email.
I wonder how many other folks remember that "Night Court" episode. That is what you were referencing with "yak's hair," isn't it? -- English is a difficult enough language to interpret correctly when its rules are followed, let alone when a writer chooses not to follow those rules.

 | I'm stuck at Enthusiast ATM, because I use Google apps for my mail so i don't have an IPv6 Mail server, I might set one up on a sub domain just to pass the test, just need to find a free one or a demo. |

The he.net test does seem to assume that either you will be hosting your DNS at the place where the tunnel 'terminates' at. Looking at the dyndns.org site, it does look like they have a 'testing' server for ipv6, so that may be something to look into, if you haven't already.
In my case, as I host the machines, I added the v6 addresses I assigned to the servers to the records at my registar and after the changes took affect, queries started hitting the servers (more or less).
Bind config, OTOH, was a bit more of an adventure.

I don't know, probably not that many. I've only run into one person IRL that got it right off the bat. Too bad, it was a great series IMO. -- All hardware sucks, all software sucks, some just suck more than others |

anyone know a light weight free ipv6 e-mail server that can run on windows?
well that hmail looks promising though I think I'll get stuck at that DNS part though maybe not as I only use dnydns as a registor and use afraid.org for dns and they have ipv6 up |

Which of the 5 tests do you have problems with ? I ran the commands on a Linux instance and simply cut&paste both the command as well as all the output lines produced by it.
said by justbits: Are 100 of each daily test required to get the shirt?
No, you can qualify for the shirt without completing any of the daily tests. However 100 daily tests are required to get the maximum point score. -- Got some spare cpu cycles ? Join Team Helix or Team Starfire! |

One additional tip: make a list and keep track of which targets you have used for each of the daily tests (apparently you can't reuse them). My 2nd day traceroute was rejected despite the fact that I ran it from a different source IPv6 address because it was directed at the same target as the previous days test. -- Got some spare cpu cycles ? | How did you manage to loose all the whitespace (TABs) inside the QUESTION, ANSWER and AUTHORITY SECTION ?
If it was pasted as it is posted here then it is not surprising that it doesn't parse properly.
The important part of the answer should be the line: ipv6.l.google.com. TAB 256 TAB IN TAB AAAA TAB 2a00:1450:8002::6a
(obviously without the word TAB, just whitespace in between every part of the answer) -- Got some spare cpu cycles ? Join Team Helix or Team Starfire! |

| My next thought was that perhaps their parser only looks at the first line of information in the ANSWER SECTION. In your case that part of the answer is a CNAME record (which could be for a A or AAAA record). Only the second line in the ANSWER SECTION shows that you did query a valid IPv6 AAAA record.
However they did accept this result for my daily dig today:
dig ipv6.google.com AAAA

| reply to justbits After running some more daily tests I noticed that the certification server apparently has problems with IPv6 targets behind 6to4 tunnels (6in4 tunnels and native IPv6 works fine).
The daily tests to sites behind 6to4 tunnels (such as kernelnewbies.org) fail with a message that the certification server couldn't ping their IPv6 address. However ping6 to such sites works fine for me. -- Got some spare cpu cycles ? Join Team Helix or Team Starfire! |
