How to reset to factory settings SpeedStream 5883

I try to configure my old SpeedStream 5883 but I don't have the password. Defaults settings is changing by a script during start. How to clean it?

Regards
Chris

Are you a customer of TDC?

Here is the User Guide, if you are.

If you tried a reset procedure and the script is still there then only the ISP can remove it. That is the way the ISP locks the modem so that only they can configure it. I do not know any work-around or any passwords to unlock the unit.

No, just locked to prevent end users/customers from making any changes.

Did you contact your ISP support and ask them to make the wanted changes for you? You should refer to your ISP Terms and Use Agreements. Do you own the Modem or are you renting it or is it a loaner unit from your ISP? Depending on whether you own it and paid for it, then you can use that to request that they unlock the unit for you to administer.
