| reply to MrsFixitSC I think it used to be that way before. However, the new 'all forums' page looks as if justin wanted a cleaner setup, and the only forums you could directly link to is your favorites, which makes sense in a way -- I don't visit other forums unless I need to; thus sticking to my favs.
I'm *neutral* with this one. -- You fire a guy, you create a rival. You fire a woman, you create a housewife. |

I think the real reason is that they like to be different. Will they ever create idiot buttons for the html tags like EVERY other forum on the internet has? I'm actually grateful in a way. It's forced me to learn some HTML. Wait. I just figured it out. This is a geek forum. Clickable tooltips and html tag idiot buttons aren't geeky. It all makes sense now.
But that still doesn't explain why their e-mail reply notification system works the way it does. And how that actually makes sense to some people. -- Bit Torrent is my DVR. |

1 edit | Not objecting to the initial request - thus my neutral standing, but I think the sysadmins can come up with an option to make everyone happy - a layout for all forums, or displaying favs only. However, does it hurt to click the category then go to the forum you're looking for? There's almost 200 (or over) forums at DSLR-- if you want them all listed, place them as your favorites so everything will appear. -- Does Wayne Brady have to slap a bitch? |

It doesn't look to be a permanent option, though. -- Does Wayne Brady have to slap a bitch? |
