Netopia 2210-02 stop ppp

Hello!
Please tell me how to stop a ppp connection via shell in Netopia 2210-02? I see a command start ppp but see no stop ppp.
Is it possible? Or is there a way to make a timeout between disconnect and connect in 'reset ppp'?

Use the shell to view the pppoe commands and review the configuration summary

Thank you for your reply!
The shell command that'd let me stop pppoe command is what I'm looking for. But I found no command that'd let me stop pppoe. If you know one, please tell me.
Configuration is something that is applied on modem restart, which is not acceptable (modem restarts too slowly for me).

I don't know if the command you want exists
If you go through the modem configuration you should see the commands that are available

I don't think that there is a CLI command to explicitly stop the ppp session. However, you can issue the command reset ppp vcc1 and that will stop the ppp vcc1 session and restart it after the number of seconds in the restart-timer config setting.

I just issued that command on one of my 2210 modems, and this is what shows in my syslog (my restart-timer value is 3):

Mar 09 01:59:06 dcs-gwn 2011 PPP: IPCP down, session 1
Mar 09 01:59:06 dcs-gwn 2011 PPP-1 down: Profile changed
Mar 09 01:59:06 dcs-gwn 2011 PPP: Channel 1 up Profile name: WAN1
Mar 09 01:59:09 dcs-gwn 2011 PPP: NCP up, session 1, Channel 1 Final (fallback) negotiated auth: Local NONE, Remote CHAP
Mar 09 01:59:09 dcs-gwn 2011 PPP: CHAP remote accepted us, Channel 1 Remote name: NSVLTNAP61W
Mar 09 01:59:09 dcs-gwn 2011 PPP: IPCP negotiated, session 1, rem: 70.159.248.8 local: 74.170.163.101

That is really interesting. I was setting a 10 seconds restart timer in config, but that did no work. I will try again, anyway.
I will report about results soon.

Thank you for your help!
