 | Is ~7000 feet away from CO supposed to be about 6 Mbps? I registered for Fusion band service on Monday (02/28). I was received an email said that my fusion service has been activated this morning (Friday 03/04). Last Wednesday (03/02), I was able to configure the modem myself to make it works and I was able to get online since then and I got the speed of about 6Mbps/1Mbps. Now with the fusion service activated, I see the speed stays the same after I restarted the modem.
I'm using Actiontec ADSL2+ modem. The Fusion is advertised with the speed of 20Mbps and I'm about ~7000 feet away from the CO or something.
I'm wondering is there any way to make an improvement for the connection speed? or is that the maximum speed i'm able to get?
Thanks. |

Also - the attached scatter plots of sync speeds may give you an idea about how your circuit performance compares to others at the same distance.
