Re: Old News said by BHNtechXpert:This is actually old news and contrary to Conspiracy Karl's insinuation "The announcement comes, not coincidentally, as Time Warner Cable lobbies the state to pass a law making community fiber deployments more difficult." this not some part of TWC's sinister plan to dominate the world or sway the courts or politicians. Old news? |

Old news? Yes old news. Would you mind pointing out where Time Warner has released dates for the Triad region? I live here, know people who work there, follow this closely, and this is the first I've heard where (vague) dates were given. |

Here is when Karl himself started discussing it and it was actually reported PRIOR to that. Apparently you don't follow the industry as much as you thought...I dunno...or maybe just don't read.

 | For once i actually agree with you. This WAS reported last year with a number of service areas that were suppose to get the D3 upgrades. Although they never came about in almost 99% of those cities. |

»Time Warner Cable Aims 50 Mbps At Raleigh Raleigh is not the Triad. They are an hour and a half apart. You're confusing the Triangle with the Triad. Triangle = Raleigh, Durham, Chapel-Hill; the Triad is Greensboro, High Point, Burlington.
Oops.

Oops. » en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Research_Triangle» en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piedmont_Triad You're playing word games here. The original announcement way way back when (pre Karl) referred to all of the NC service area.
