1 edit | 3Com IPS So I recently acquired a particular piece of equipment, a 3Com Tipping Point 1200E. The issue is, it was previously configured, and I have no idea how to access it to change the management IP, since it cannot be done through the front panel. Any suggestions on how to configure this device? |

| The first link I've seen, it's the SMS client I've had trouble locating on the device cause of the IP issue. The second link I have not seen yet, and provides good overview info. I was afraid I'd have to Wireshark it, although to change it, I guess that means I'd have to either change the PC IP or console in. |

Probably at least have to go the console route for password recovery. |
