Intercom Online scam with Automatic Contract Renewal

Been a customer for more than 5 years with Intercom Online, service was OK and support was acceptable. I decided to switch over to another company a couple of months after my contract with them expired. That's when they claimed that my contract had automatically renewed for another year and that they will sue me for a full years service ($3,200). When I told them I never received any notice that my contract was set to renew, they sent me the Email i was sent at the time. Looking over the email, I noticed the email address they sent it to had a typo - so i never received it. To top it all off the contract I signed with them does not have an automatic renewal clause in it, but says subject to terms as per the website. There are 7 documents in their policies page and none of them refer to an automatic renewal clause. I just received a notice from small claims court - so they are actually planning to sue me.

My advice STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! 5 years of loyalty to them and they are falsely and frivolously suing me for service they are not even providing me!
