When AT&T Old and Cingular merged their service sucked for about a year. Will AT&T customers have to deal with that B.S. when AT&T merges with T-Mobile?
EDIT: Once Verizon buys Sprint will they begin the attack on MVNO's raising their rates. AT&T will take the Go Phone rate back to $0.25 per minute to match Verizon Impulse basic rates. Before long customers will find their wireless costs rocketing upward as the Verizon - AT&T Duopoly tightens the noose on wireless rates. Customers will have nightmares dreaming that wireless is like broadband service with the wireless companies telling customers that they are not Burger King, take it our way or go fuck yourself.
The PCS frequencies were originally opened up to create competition in the wireless market. By by competition.
VZW will NEVER get sprint anytime soon- if at all. They can't buy them due to their merger with Alltel that just finished.
Sprint will be smart to gobble up their MNVOs and merge with Cox Wireless and or LightSquared or merge with Leap/Cricket and go that route.
But ATT Blue is the ones that got treated like shit and still do. Cingular Orange is the org. Cingular Customers. But now its ATT Blue and ATT Orange. Tmobile will be known as ATT-Pink since they can't use the actual term. And ATT prices are already even with VZ and TMO's prices aren't that much cheaper. My rate plan is the same with TMO and VZ before you factor in my discount that I get. $99 unlimited. Same with all the others.
