[WA] WAVE Service in Port Orchard Area

We are looking to move away from Qwest and know that our only other option is Wave. Can anyone tell if their issues with latency and spotty up time has improved? We had them for about a month five years ago and dropped due constant resetting of the modem. Our Qwest line is 1.5 down (with a steady 1.3 ave) only and since we are 25K from the CO I don't see Qwest giving us anything faster.

As much as it pains me to say it, service from Wave has not been that bad lately. We used to have tons of problems, now we just have mysterious outages every three months or so that go away after 15 mins to 2 hours. Tech support is beyond useless. If we had more options I would jump ship but there are not many choices and 1.5Mb just doesn't cut it for us. Not sure if the improvement is real or just the onset of Stockholm syndrome.

And so it goes in life.... one minute everything is coming up roses the next you are being torn apart amongst the thorns.

The service has actually been pretty decent here in the last year or so.

I can't say I have really experienced node congestion issues either. The only time my connection has gone down recently was when my router rebooted every hour for a couple weeks.
