Want to use Westell 7500 for wireless and a linksys router

Internet => Westell 7500 => Linksys 8 port router.

I would like to setup the westell to use wireless and the linksys for cat 5. The westell only have 4 ports and I need 7. Can anyone help me?

Piggy back (use DHCP dynamic) the linksys router with the Westell 7500 so that you can have 3 ports from the Westell and 4 ports from the linksys router.

I assumed this would be easy, but attempts to just piggy back a linksys router or switch failed. Then tried all the things suggested in various threads, again without success.

Finally talked to the advanced support people at Fairpoint (who took over from Verizon in Maine) and their advice was to go back to the defaults on the 7500. Change the IP address of the Linksys router to 192.168.2.1 and reboot everything. Worked like a charm.
