Wiring internet to TV

I have a Samsung LN46B630 TV and a Actiontec Rev. E Router
hook up. What is the best way to put the net on the TV. The VZ
tech said they don't like the HDMI setup. I don't see why I can't use a CAT5E from the FIOS router port to the TV

Thanks

Two best options.

Just to clarify, It seems that in addition to viewing source video from your HD STB, you want to hook up your Samsung TV to take advantage of the online (InfoLink) features available on you set.....all you should need to do is run a CAT 6 cable from the Actiontec Router to the location of your set, Terminate each end of the Cat cable with a RJ-45 connector, plug one end into an open port of the Actiontec, the other end into the rear Ethernet port of the Samsung. It should self-configure but read your TV manual....more specific instructions are contained there.

Not manufactured. The stinger on the coax end is not compliant. It's too short. Although I've made coax connections like that and it worked fine. I referred to his original HowTo.

Best Buy, according to this thread.
