Need ISDN options; CenturyLink doesn't have residential ISDN

I am currently searching for ISDN service because I live in a very rural area. I live in NC and my telco is CenturyLink. CL has business ISDN but not residential. Do I have to go through CL for ISDN? Can I go with someone else? I am currently a grandfathered in Verizon Wireless customer (I used to be with Alltel), and the service appears to be tanking again. I work from home and have limited income. I'm trying to look into any options available.

All ISDN that I know of is business. From my experience that has nothing to do with where the service is installed or what type of check you use to pay the bill. Did you try to order service?

No, I haven't tried ordering service; I just called CenturyLink. I called the business side first, and as soon as I said I wanted to know if ISDN was available for residential, I was sent to the residential side, and the CSR said ISDN was not available for residences.
