I don't ever get excited about Sprint speeds. They just outright suck depending on tower. Where I happen to spend most of my time online; at work in Brooklyn and at home in the Bronx, speeds are quite pathetic.
Example of this suckage at 9:17am today in Brooklyn. This actually gets worse as the day progresses.
To be fair, where I happen to sit at work and at home the signal fluctuates wildly. It almost seems as though the concrete is considerably deflecting the signal or the phone is roaming between towers consistently. And yes, updating the PRL does diddly squat.
When out in the open, browsing the web on the phone almost seems flawless. Haven't tried tethering out in the open yet.
