2011 Spring Has Sprung Thread!

Daffodils are my favorite flowers. I like.

Does this mean I need to get busy and make a Spring Logo for here from the pics posted in this thread?

You wouldn't think spring is here, we had rain, sleet and snow earlier today, temp is 36 currently, spring will need to be sprung at a later date.

Someday will get a photo of something.

I think it sprung here too, However...
a) the roof sprung a leak
b) the pollen count skyrocketed
c) that glowy thing hurts my eyes
d) I sprunged my shoulder
e)all of the above

therefore I'm staying in and praying for the return of winter

You reminded me that one of my favorite spots would be in bloom: the park across from the capitol in Salem. Your shots are great!

I stopped there on my way back from Eugene today and got mostly lucky with the sun. It was still chilly though.

Sleet and a bit snow not long ago, warmed to 38. Spring, where!

I had hail today about 3.30pm. This was nuts.

Yeah, it actually dropped something like 6 degrees between 6a and 9a this morning. Nice. Cold. Front. (NOT).

It was snowing here 5 minutes ago. Not sticking ATM, however.

This winter, as far as I can remember, had the most snow events, and was probably among the wettest here.

I keep thinking...no one told me it snowed/hailed/etc in Oregon when I moved here four years ago from Sacramento.

It's the weirdest weather I've had since coming north. And I wouldn't trade it for anything. The sun it out for me now and it's going to be a stunning sunset here. But the whole "if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes thing" is real....it changes in a heartbeat.

So at the risk of spamming the thread, it was SUNNY today and I spent a couple hours at the Oregon Zoo with a new to me lens. The animals were enjoying the sun!

Very nice! I especially like the lions!

What camera / lens are you using for these?
