 | Wireless Help All right I got Earthlink Cable internet with TimeWarner being the one who installed it. okay so they gave me a basic Cisco cable modem and it does not have wireless. Didn't get it with them because I would rather buy one.
Anyways, I have an old netgear wgt624 router. So far it won't work with the cable internet. So my question is Do I have to buy a seperate router to hook up, or a different modem with router? Any suggestions? |

The cable modem locks to the first device that requests an IP, that info clears upon a power cycle(of the cable modem). |
