How long does it take for the system to update your account?reposting for pfak.
point form..
Modem was dieing after 5 years of use.
Telus sends refurb Siemens modem that was intermittent
Sent modem back. Telus rep confirmed they got it back.
Purchased a modem online that works 100%.
Kept getting billed for the modem rental fee for the Siemens.
Called in every month after getting e.bill to have the rental charge removed.
Problem was that the previous reps/agents were not ceasing the billing on the rental, but just crediting the $5 back.
Last rep I talked to on Tuesday seen what the error was by looking at the account history and corrected the issue by applying a 'Cease billing' on the modem rental.
ie. issued resolved. Hopefully. Will see on May 1rst.

Re: [AB] How long does it take for the system to update your accAny Telus employee have any idea how often the line sync systems update? When I first got my Optik my upload sync rate was way too low for the 25Mb plan, however I'm syncing at 3000kb/s on my upload now, however it still shows I don't qualify. My line more than qualifies now though, however it isn't updated that I do. |

Loopqual is a POS. I commonly see people (including myself) with 7-13 dB of attenuation and a SNR over 10 who are limited to a 1 or 2 HD profile. TELUS' excuse is that they need to account for more subs being added to a binder group, but half the time I think its just a system cockup and it seems that once the system decides something, its near impossible to change it. |

Is there anything I can do to get the 25Mb plan or just hope the system fixes the issue in the next couple years? |

Have you considered starting your own thread, instead of tacking the question onto someone else's? You'd probably get lots more responses, since not everyone will re-read a thread they may not have any input on (this one), and therefore won't see your (what seems to be) unrelated question. |

Thanks tips. I just figured since someone else started a topic somewhat related to my question, may as well throw it in and see if anyone has any idea. I don't mind people doing it in my threads, as long as it's related to my original topic. I really don't see any issue bud. |
