Look at what the tobacco companies did....
They diversified.... RJR bought Kraft and big into food and other things.
At really doesn't matter exactly what, as much as get your eggs out of one basket, and not into another frying pan.

kudos:1 | Well no you have it ass backwards stuff RJR getting out of tobacco bought turned to crap. And actually still making a decent profit, many will still buy Phili Cream Cheese vs the store brand (likely actually made by them in a different wrapper) on sale.

kudos:1 | Yes you are right no vested interest... but doesn't mean they have any talent either unless they can prove it and you smart enough to see they aren't cooked books.
That takes time and experience... again slow not putting all eggs from one basket to another.
