Super past porting

I ported my second line from Packet8 to TeleBlend and the number started working on TeleBlend in 1 week. Can this be possible? I was expecting about 2 to 3 weeks and this was a little unexpected. Should I wait a week before cancelling my Packet8 service?

Re: Super past fast porting

I note that you are from Conway ARMENIA. Perhaps the following reference might explain the rush to port your number. (LOL) »One Old Woman With Shovel Takes Armenia Offline

In response to your question, if incoming calls are being directed to your TeleBlend adapter (and you were not call forwarding your P8 number to TeleBlend) ... then the port has been completed. You will want to call P8 to cancel your account ... otherwise other P8 people calling your number will be routed thru P8's internal Routing Tables and hear "The number you have dialed is no longer in service." Also, if you do not cancel, you will continue to be billed by P8.
