Had 3 radios on my account. I cancelled one in March (brother bought a new car that had free XM). I was given a credit for the rest of the month.
I bought a new car 3 weeks ago...never put my XM Radio in...just didn't miss it. Signal had been getting weak around here. I just called to cancel my radio. Was told I will still be charged till 4/28/11 for the full month. I argued and talked to a supervisor, if you cancel and have paid in advance (had autopay) they will not credit you the balance back.
This was a recent change in policy.....oh and the supervisor told me they don't have to tell us about any changes they make.
reply to wirphotos If you paid by credit card, i would call them, and start there. If a service doesnt work , and cannot be fixed, they have to credit you back.
