I bought a Bluetooth wireless mic for my PS3. I can play around with the settings and hear myself just fine, but when I use it in games, others complain that my voice is crackling with static. Could there be some sort of interference, maybe with the wireless controller? I have four kids that are always yacking in the background so I'd hate to disable push to talk.
I can't anwser this but I got a cheap $10 bluetooth headset from Staples.. I think it's omnitech or something.. I don't think I heard anyone say I had static but I hear static on my end.. I was thinking about getting the PS3 one because I can charge it and still talk at the same time.
I really haven't heard anything bad about it as well.
reply to footballdude One of my friends uses a cheap-o, second hand bluetooth and I always hear a buzzing sound. I recently ditched my Rocketfish bluetooth for a wired, full stereo Turtle Beach PX-21 and the quality is night and day. I just thing bluetooth is largely overrated. -- Don't worry, scro. There are plenty of 'tards out there living really kick-ass lives.
