Thanks. Made a post in direct. I dumped the SB6120 until that firmware is upgraded. I also found out 60mb service hit our area. But, they want $25.00 more per month.

Personally,
I can't see paying out the wazoo for max speed as MOST servers on the net won't even dish out those speeds. Seems kind of wasteful to me. Only reason I even went for the 18/2 plan was it was a special for 6 months and was pretty close to what I was paying for Verizon/Frontier DSL for the past 2 years. I've said on here many, many times, I won't pay over $40 a month for internet and still am not.

I am stuck in a contract until the end of June for Max HSI. So, I have no choice. Overall I have been happy until the SB6120 issue hit. Especially when they bricked mine the first time around. They really did make it right in the end. BUT. It goes back to the firmware push. That last one slowed things down and I finally got tired of it. This Ubee is much more responsive and speeds are better.

How long did it take for them to make it right in the end and what did they do for you?

So, show of some of those speeds you're getting from a distance, with that modem!

Just got updated with the latest firmware and how about that. Full speed ahead at long distances. This proves Charter does in fact have a problem with the firmware and their network in certain areas with the SB6120. 25mb/3mb plan. You guys have seen plenty of my speed tests with the SB6120 over distances. It would not even come close to these numbers.
