1 edit | Refurbished Laptops Looking to buy a used or refurbished Laptop for $300 or less. Is it possible to find a decent one for around that price? Only need it for the occasional trip for email/internet and movies. I mainly use my desktop at home for gaming and other power needing programs. Any particular brands to stay away from?
I guess E-bay and Dell outlet would be best place to look?
Anyone have any comments on this site?

If you want a minimal email laptop, the D4x0 is darn near ideal, 12 inch screen and under 4.5 pounds.

For movies you will want a 15.4 inch screen and a DVD player, so a D8x0 makes more sense. But you will feel it in every airport and it may not fit in the airplanes fold down tray.
