ip: 192.168.200.20 |

wayjacPremium,MVM join:2001-12-22 Indy | Ok, that's good you should get pencil and paper
Using the computer that's connected to the 6100 Write down and post the ip address subnet mask default gateway dhcp server You will need this info later on
You need to make some changes to the 7501 configuration The ip address must be changed and the dhcp server must be disabled |
|
 | ip address :192.168.200.20 subnet mask :255.255.255.0 default gateway:192.168.200.1 DHCP :192.168.200.1 |

wayjacPremium,MVM join:2001-12-22 Indy | reply to theagitated With this setup the 7105 wan port is not used You should connect the 7105 to another computer using a cable to make the changes
So the 7501 has a ethernet wan port? |
|
 | yes the 7501 has a wan port. i made the changes setting up the network with the router and modem as instructed and its in the process of restarting itself right now |
|
 | now nothing connects. it says internet status not connected. and thats with the changes made as you instructed. |
|
wayjacPremium,MVM join:2001-12-22 Indy | reply to theagitated Remember that the 7501 has a new ip address 192.168.200.200 Remember that you must not connect anything to the 7501 wan port
Do you have the wireless settings set up already or do you need to do that |
