Re: Get The Most Out Of Your Wideband Connection With the summer heat about to pounce on us like a cat on a mouse it's time you take a few minutes to remove the dust bunnies from your favorite tech items (especially your computer, modem, router).
Grab yourself some canned air and spend a few minutes today blowing out these critical components (please make sure they are unplugged BEFORE you do this).
While you're at it make sure you have adequate ventilation and spacing around each of these devices. These devices need to breath and stay cool especially during our hot and humid summers.
Heat not only kills these devices but can cause them to malfunction including but not limited to random resets, lockups, dropped packets and other issues that would commonly be blamed on signal or other equipment issues.
So make this weekend the time where you not only eat the ears off a chocolate bunny but also the time when you evict dust bunnies from their electronic homes.
