CPMBroadband, DSL, cable join:2001-08-24 Brooklyn, NY | VPN and WPA2 Question Right now I use RaptorVPN, however, I think they use PPTP. Which I read is not strong of a VPN.
What is the strongest free or small fee VPN service? I use WPA2 on my router.
I am trying to make the highest security for my home network. Kinda of a new hobby for me. -- Always Lock down your wifi and use a VPN at home or at work. Take your Vitamins say your prayers at nite and be a good Hulkamaniac. and never watch porn at Starbucks. |

 | Because VPN does not have anything to do with WPA2, I would think this should belong in Virtual Private Networking forum, under the catergory of Broadband Tech.
Anywa, have a look here (OpenVPN is difficult to setup, but is more secure than PPTP): »www.google.com/search?hl=en&sour···aql=&oq= -- Current Soft Phone (temp): Ekiga (ordered Yealink T22P to switch from Ekiga) Phone System: Asterisk 1.8; Server: Ubuntu Server 10.04 with Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard as guest |

 | reply to CPM IPSec is the modern standard, in two flavors...
3DES: has a key length of 168 bits, but can supposedly be reduced to 112 bits by a man-in-the-middle attack
AES: can be a key length of 128, 192, or 256 bits
Some feel there is a performance hit with AES, this may vary depending on tunnel endpoint hardware and/or client software |
