Ugh. I'm sorry to hear that the rates were so aggressively increased. My wife and I decided to abandon commercial television (short of an antenna) over a year and a half ago. We don't miss that bill.
To "make up" for the 'lost' services, we pay for Netflix at ~$12/month, which includes the Blu-Ray rental option. We primarily use it to stream movies and TV shows. Otherwise, there's Hulu Plus and Amazon's Digital Downloads to make up the differences as well.
Anyway - if you've not checked out the Cable ONE forum here on DSLReports, I do recommend that you check it out. There have been some changes in their system for some of the footprint -- which would be the DOCSIS 3.0 service has been rolled out in "test markets". »
