Yes, $25 for 2GB data is a ridiculous amount of money regardless of how you slice it and/or use it.

Per AT&T, adding another $20 to the data plan you already purchase just so that you can use that same data plan but tethered is absolutely absurd.

Well now it's 4GB total for $20 extra, so you do get something.

But I agree it's 1000000% absurd to charge per GB and then you can't use it however you like.

How much do you think a reasonable price for a data plan should be?

You get an extra 2GB for that $20, putting the price back to where it was years ago when you only had ONE price for data plans.
