| ViaTalk with uVerse I just recently changed from Comcast to uVerse, and have some questions about configurations.
My old setup was comcast modem > HT502 > Linksys Router. The HT was my DHCP server, and the Linksys was setup as a bridge.
Now, with the uVerse, I have the uVerse 2-Wire > HT502 > Linksys. The 2-Wire is the DHCP, and the HT502 and Linksys are set in bridge modes. The HT502 was set in the DMZ.
I seem to have some 2-5 second pauses during the first minutes of any call, and just tonight, I found the HT would not register.
I reset all configs, and now the HT is not in the DMZ, and now registered, and can make calls.
I was wondering how others with uVerse have their's setup.
Up until the change to uVerse, my ViaTalk has been running rock solid. I am now having some regrets about the change.
Any suggestions or guidance appreciated. |
