Looking at driving to MI in a few days

Subaru 1-3-2-4 Premium join:2001-05-31 Greenwich, CT	Looking at driving to MI in a few days I'm headed to the Warren area.. from what I gather its about 654 miles one way I'm staying a week but possibly moving to that area but I just wanted to know how was the area if anyone knows that area?
