To my HDUI Testers.. (Your getting new software soon)Sorry about the temporary loss of the HDUI interface, You should have the ability to turn it back on very shortly if not already. I wanted to let you know that I'm mapping all of you to a new software subset that we are looking to deploy in production very soon. This new software has some nice new features that I'm sure many of you are looking very forward to. Those features are :
Support for IPAD APP Several Bug Fixes and enhancements This is the software base we will enable HDUI After new VOD App Launch VOD previews Further TiVo Look / Feel when in VOD Portal
Your TiVo's should be mapped to the new software base within the next few days. |

Okay, The people in the EARLY beta were the ones that lost their HDUI. We are getting that fixed now. Sorry for the hang-up it took a few to figure it out.
The customers who are in the big beta you should have access to 14.8 now. Please do a couple TiVo Connections and let me know if you see it. Remember after a restart it will take about an hour to install 14.8.
The early beta customers who lost HDUI will NOT get 14.8 until we get HDUI turned back on for you. I hope to get this done by COB today.

Same here. Did a connection and restart to check for HDUI, but it installed 4.8....still no HDUI, though. The iPad app is working...pretty nice! |

I upgraded to the new 14.8 on both boxes. They are restarted and back to live television. When I launch my iPad app it does recognize any boxes on my network. Am I missing a step here?
Very excited |

Hi, Both my boxes upgraded to 14.8 and the Tivo app for IPAD is working great with both boxes, and I have HDUI(was in the later beta group).
When I click on my other Tivo, I only still see the transfer program option.
Thanks, Arch |

So for those of you who have both the 14.8 update AND the HDUI, is it any less sluggish than before? |

Any progress on getting the HDUI turned back on for us early beta testers?
I also plan on getting an iPad in a few weeks. Looking forward to testing that out. Anyone know if there are still plans for an official TiVo iPhone app? I seem to recall it was mentioned a while ago, but I've heard nothing since. |

I have an iPhone, it's a shame they don't have an iphone remote app. There's already plenty of them. |

Can't wait to get home and try it out. ipad control was easy to setup and so far is working without flaw. we actually have two ipad's in the home, both are working great, but I am without HDUI at the moment. We will see how the response time changes once I get HDUI back. |

iPad app is fantastic!! So far I'm having a blast with it. The TiVo seems to react faster to the iPad controls than the infared remote. I like that too! |

Re: IpadIpad app works great. Much easier than the guide or using tivo.com
Never lost the HD interface, mainly using the SD one though.
I would say the HD is a smidge faster but I never found the original that slow overall. |
