Re: [MA] For those who grew up in MASSACHUSETTS

4. You went to Canobie Lake Park or Whalom Park as a kid.

Both, but mostly I remember going to Whalom Park for my birthday every year in elementary school.

100. You remember Jordan Marsh, Filene's, Grants, Bradlees, Caldor, Zayres, and Ann & Hope. And Spag's

All of the above except Grants - that one's before my time.

Spag's was very close to where I grew up (a mile or two), we went there all the time. I never knew it was unique until I grew up and moved away - I was completely clueless about where you were supposed to buy everyday items. Back home, the answer to every "where do you buy x " question was "Spag's." School supplies? Spag's. Loam? Spag's. Toys? Spag's. A plunger? Spag's. Wooden dowels? Spag's. Books? Spag's.

Out in the real world, it turns out there are all different types of stores...
