Customer service at AT&T is a nightmare! I was on the phone this time 3 different days. Today I was on the phone 1hr an 7 min. and was transfered 9 times. I was determined to fine out why the 103.30 service charge was on my bill. No one could answer that question so they would just pass me around until they decided I was not going away this time. On this same problem last week I was on the phone for an hour being passed around then they just hung up on me. The charges were wrong and they did finnally admit it but only because this time I had all the proof that the bills had been paid. If you cannot prove it ---TOO BAD FOR YOU. IT IS THE AT&T way. If you must go with AT&T keep your eyes open. You billing changes, you will be chaged fees you do not owe. NOT at first but if you are with them for over a year beware. Do not call to question the billing unless you have an afternoon to be persistant. I really believe this is how they make money.
So far I haven't had a need to contact support, but I have heard horror stories for those that did. In my area I only have two choices for wireless services, AT&T and Verizon. So I basically chose the lesser of two evils. I had Verizon in the past and that was a total nightmare. I am watching my bill very closely.
