| [WA] Any Archers about Ok let me confess I am not an archer nor am I really wanting to be one.
My request is purely for my hobby, Amateur Radio.
Your old aluminum shafts about 36" you use, if the tips/feathers break off and the shaft cant be reused but is almost full length.
What do you do with them.
Id like to find about a dozen as they are perfect for building what we hams call the Arrow Antenna.
how would I find a place that might keep a bunch till they have enough to dispose of ?
Thanks -- Rick Scott Everett, Washington

| I'd try some of the archery ranges. »www.google.com/search?q=archery+···4bd74320 No one seems impressed with the everett ones, but the Nock Point in lynnwood/mountlake terrace (moved from their old location on 220th to a new spot a few blocks away (still just off I-5)) used to have "used" shafts (people with a shorter draw could have new flights ("feathers") or heads (the pointy end) attached, for sale. they probably end up with some too short or bent in the middle that can't be reused. |
