Re: Phonepower with Cisco UC500

I know nothing about this gateway, but it presumably has some logging features so you can see what is going wrong. When receiving the 401 challenge, does it resend the INVITE with an Authorization header? URI, realm, etc. look correct? Is the subsequent response another 401? What happens on incoming calls?

Can your UC500 register and make calls with other providers? If so, a free PBXes account may provide a workaround by "laundering" the connection.

Yes I was able to register with couple of other providers like callcentric. PP is the only one not working.

If you're on Capricorn (and switching won't conflict with your needs), changing to Aquarius might avoid the issue.

Otherwise, unless someone reading this has a UC500 and has solved this problem, you will need to use debug commands or capture the SIP traffic to see what is going wrong.

In the short term, putting PBXes, SIPsorcery, or your own PBX in the path could provide a workaround.

Stewart is always spot on, care to answer these questions he asked? Phone Power may not support your Cisco, but you may get the answer to your problem depending on what the answers are to Stewarts questions.
