| [Equipment] How to configure an VT2142 through provisioning sett Hello Everybody,
I have been a Vonage customer for 3+ years. We plan to terminate the service, and setup Betamax on our Motorola VT2142 device. I called Vonage, they gave Admin password, and it works. However, the screen does not show Voice Port1, Voice Port 2, Voice Common screens. It only shows Voice Provisioning screen where they have some web addresses to Vonage, and file paths.
By having the Admin password, does it mean my device is unlocked?
If so, how can I modify the firmware so that Voice Port1, Voice Port2, and Voice Common screens appear so that I can configure Betamax there?
Does this require JTAG, soldering, and sophisticated interfaces to connect to the device or it is a simple software change once connected to the device through the network cable?
I am really a newbee and am newly discovering all about VOIP and what it can offer. So, I would appreciate detailed, step by step instructions.
