Vista/WIN7 are not tweakable like older versions of MS OS's. The Doctor and other "tweak" programs that manipulate the registry do not work.

The other "tweakable" settings using the netsh commands are what some folks use to "tweak" Vista/WIN7 do not really improve performance.

The only exception to this is setting the MTU using a netsh command. This one tweak is worthwhile to do if the MTU is not properly set.

There are tons of opinions that you can Google and read the debate.

MS and others say to just leave it alone.
