[General] WHR-G125 log onto router and nothing shows on the left

I am trying to change settings on the router. I am running win 7 Pro 64bit. There is a newer firmware available for the router. I probably have the next oldest installed.

I log on to the router and all I get on my browser window (I have tried FF and IE) is the headings and the help/glossary window on the right side of the main window.

I found a fix concerning communication with older devices in 64 bit (this device was not named, but I tried it). I changed the specified security setting in win 7 with no change.

Since I cannot see any of the controls or data, I can't even update the firmware to see if that helps.

Any suggestions for fixing this?
